183 Days

I started blogging six months ago, or 183 consecutive days of blog posts, each one with a photo. I set this goal, thinking after that amount of time I would have an idea of what to write about. I still don’t have a clue. So for the time being I will practice my writing by sharing crafting and gardening things.

Today the sock knitting has been going better. I think I like the Cookie A., “Sock Innovations” book. It took a while for my brain to get in gear, so to speak. Now I can appreciate how awesome her work is. She is a genius. I jumped into the pattern before reading all the beginning information. There is a part on how to fit a knitting stitch pattern into the round for a sock. Since I wasn’t designing a sock I thought I could skip that part. It would have helped if I had read it before I started knitting.

This isn’t a good photograph. I took it after planting the upside-down tomatoes. It is a reference point since tomatoes grow so fast. I like growing cherry tomatoes this way, with basil on top.

  1. This is intriguing! Have you done this before & can you use any tomato? I can only imagine that a cascading waterfall of cherry tomatoes would be a thing to behold.
