Latch Hook Serger End Finisher

I made this little tool to finish off serger ends. The latch hook is from a spaghetti strap turner, cut short with wire cutters to be easier to handle. The orange top is a child’s eraser that my son had. It just makes the tool easy to find on my sewing table, and is also easier to pick up than just the latch hook. Using a little latch hook there is no more tying the serger thread ends in knots or cutting them off only to have the last half inch unravel. Just pull an inch or so of the serger tail through the serger stitches and everything is secure.
